Matthew & Olivia Bohlman-
People For Care And Learning (PCL) & Chiang Rai International Christian School (CRICS)
Matt and Olivia Bohlman are serving in Chiang Rai, Thailand in the northern part of the country near the Myanmar and Laos borders. Their main ministry is serving as volunteer staff at a Christian school that serves missionary children (K-12) as well Buddhist Thai and Hill-tribe children. Matt is a history and Bible teacher and Olivia serves as a school nurse. With her training, Olivia also continues to provide CPR / First-Aid classes to various groups and ministries. In addition, Matt continues teaching at Akha Bible School. The Akha people are one of five Hill-tribe groups in northern Thailand that have their own language, dress and culture.
Ronnie and Lauren Bernard- Pignon Christian Academy
Ronnie and Lauren Bernard are missionaries building a school, Pignon Christian Academy, in Haiti to train the next generation for Jesus. Ronnie is from Northern Haiti and Lauren is from Harford County. The school will consist of five classrooms with the frame and two rooms nearly complete. Mount Zion supports their ministry financially.
Benedict and Kathleen Schwartz- Village of Hope
Benedict and Kathleen Schwartz, long-time members of Mount Zion Church for 20 years, have dedicated the past 17 years to missionary work in Zambia through their organization, All Kids Can Learn International. Their ministry has expanded significantly, now encompassing a village for orphaned and vulnerable children that houses 50 children placed by the Zambian government. The Schwartz's work also includes a home for young mothers, a school, a farm, and various outreach programs. Benedict and Kathleen lead and facilitate these initiatives alongside a committed Christian Zambian staff. Mount Zion Church is proud to continue its partnership with the Schwartz family, supporting their impactful ministry that improves lives and spreads hope in Zambia. Their deep roots in the Mount Zion community have helped foster a strong, ongoing connection between the church and their mission work in Africa.
Francis and Kimberly Kamau- Global Grace Ministries.
The Kamaus are a missionary couple serving in Kenya, supported by Mount Zion Church. Initially based in Nairobi, they have recently transitioned to a more rural area to expand their ministry. Their current focus is on establishing a ministry camp aimed at reaching out to the Maasai tribes on the plains. Mount Zion supports the Kamaus through regular financial contributions. These funds have been used for practical improvements to their ministry site, including the installation of a solar power system and a solar-powered water heater.
Ben Bill and Lydia Allshouse- World Gospel Missions.
Bill and Lydia Allshouse are missionaries based in Mexico, partnered with World Gospel Mission and supported by Mount Zion Church. The Allshouses have a long-standing history with Mount Zion. Their ministry focuses on building an education facility in Mexico called the Wesleyan Institure, which will serve as a Christian school offering Bible teaching from kindergarten through high school. The Allshouses' work represents an important part of Mount Zion's overseas missionary efforts.
Matt & Judy Benjamin- Wycliffe Bible Translators.
Matt & Judy Benjamin serve as missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators. Wycliffe is an organization dedicated to making God's Word accessible to people around the world through Bible translation. The Benjamins contribute to this mission by supporting language development and translation efforts, helping to bring Scripture to communities in their heart languages. Their work is part of Wycliffe's broader goal to ensure that every person has the opportunity to engage with the Bible in a language they understand best.
Mount Zion to West Virginia (MZ to WV).
Mount Zion to West Virginia (MZ to WV) supports the underserved community of Wharncliffe, WV, by providing spiritual and practical assistance. We run an annual Vacation Bible School, offer groceries to alleviate hunger, distribute school supplies, and give Christmas gifts to children. We also build lasting relationships through ongoing support and encouragement. Our mission aims to demonstrate Christ's love, fostering hope and resilience in this Appalachian community, and serving as a bridge between Mount Zion Church and Wharncliffe for mutual growth and understanding.
Children of Zion Village.
Children of Zion Village (COZV), located in Namibia, Africa, is a Christ-centered ministry founded by members of Mount Zion over two decades ago. COZV is devoted to nurturing orphaned and vulnerable children, providing them with care, education, and empowerment. The organization's mission is to equip these young individuals with the skills and values needed to become future leaders, all while fostering a strong foundation in faith. Mount Zion continues to play a vital role in COZV's operations through ongoing financial support and regular short-term mission trips. These trips allow church members to directly engage with the children and staff, offering practical assistance and spiritual encouragement. This hands-on involvement not only strengthens the bond between Mount Zion and COZV but also provides invaluable cross-cultural experiences for volunteers while furthering the ministry's impact in Namibia. Through this comprehensive approach and sustained partnership, COZV and Mount Zion work together to transform lives and create lasting positive change in the community.
Word of Life Missions-Belize. Word of Life Missions in Belize supports underprivileged families through biblical education and spiritual growth. Their work focuses on nurturing faith and Christian values, especially among youth and families in need. They conduct Vacation Bible School programs, church services, and youth outreach to provide safe, engaging environments for spiritual development. The ministry also offers practical support like educational resources and basic necessities. By investing in the spiritual growth and education of local families, they aim to create lasting positive change, building stronger families and a community grounded in faith and biblical principles.
Christian’s For World Peace-Netanya Israel Messianic Church. MZ supports this church to help them reach out to those in need and to bring the gospel to Israel. They provide basic needs for the poor and educational materials to instruct them in biblical truth and the knowledge that Jesus is the Messiah they have been awaiting.
